MILPITAS RELAY FOR LIFE FOR NOEL JACKSON - JULY 8TH & 9TH
On July 8th and July 9th, the Milpitas POA will participate in the Milpitas Relay for Life. This year we will be dedicating the walk to Noel Jackson. Many of you only know Noel as the Crossing Guard supervisor, but for those that have had the privilege to know him beyond that, he is a friend, he is a brother, he is a dedicated husband, a loving father, and he is a fighter.
1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. One of those people could be you or someone you love. That's why we Relay. When you join a Relay For Life event, you're helping the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking research, crucial patient care programs, and education and prevention information. When you Relay, you help save lives.
Since this campaign has started, there has been an outpouring of community support including a commitment from our brothers and sisters at Milpitas Firefighters-Local 1699. In order to raise additional funds for Relay for Life, the Milpitas POA is selling a combined thin blue and thin red line Team Noel Jackson t-shirt, which is symbolic of our law enforcement and firefighter’s support for him.
We are asking for a minimum $25 donation for each shirt. All t-shirts sales will go towards Relay for Life in Noel Jackson’s name. Please purchase as many shirts as you would want for yourself, for friends, and for family.
